The Delaware Children in Nature Coalition is the primary advocate for promoting meaningful outdoor education experiences for our youth during "in-school" and "out-of-school" time.  We exist to serve those people, programs and places that support the decision to take kids outside by providing resources to enable such actions. Our network of local and national partners can make your ideas come to life. So get outside Delaware...nature is waiting.

Our Mission To improve environmental literacy, create opportunities for children to participate in outdoor experiences, promote healthy lifestyles and provide better access to green space through schools and community programs.

Our Vision Delaware will be recognized as a leader in environmental education for all of the state’s children. No child will grow up without having had a positive outdoor experience. All families will have access to green spaces. Children will reconnect with the natural world in meaningful ways and there will be no child left inside!
