Delaware Children's Outdoor Bill of Rights:
Outdoor Activity can nourish children's physical, social, and emotional development, while connecting them to resources available in their backyards, neighborhoods, cities, and regions. Encounters with and growing knowledge of the natural world enhances academic performance and helps prepare our children for the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century. Together, we can make certain children will reconnect with the natural world in meaningful ways and there will be no child left outside!
Bill of Rights 10-Month Initiative
Each month we will highlight a Bill of Right theme where we will spotlight many programs around the state that intertwines with the month's specific "Bill". Please follow our Facebook page, as we will post about frequent events. We believe that each child has the right to connect with nature through our 10 month initiative! If you are an organization with a program that follows a specific theme during the upcoming months, please contact: [email protected]
