The Children in Nature Coalition believes that every Delaware student
deserves a “meaningful outdoor experience” while in school, and the MOE
committee works to improve the accessibility of those experiences.

Objectives for 2013-14
- Operationally
define a “Delaware Meaningful Outdoor Experience” for each level of school:
elementary, middle and high.
- Continue
to build the clearinghouse of information and promote via website, all the
meaningful outdoor experiences offered statewide for students and families.
- Designate
three sites, one in each county that offers “CIN Endorsed” Overnight Environmental
Educational Experiences for students.
- Establish
strategy to provide an outdoor field trip to every Delaware student.
